Print Samples

Mini (low rez) jpgs of past print projects in no particular order [ :-).

Samples of brochures, annual reports, trade ads, direct mail and posters from a variety of industry sectors including tech, construction, health, interior design, architecture, insurance, security services, networking clubs, children’s educational materials, and even government agencies that I have had the good fortune to provide my design services over decades.

Concept. Design. Production. Print.

My Passion for Web Design

When I first fell in love with web design, I was employed as an art director at a tech ad agency, designing 99% printed pieces. This was in Newport Beach, CA at the end of the 90’s. It was my introduction to website design. After I left that gig in about 2000, I started Wallis Williams Design and dove headfirst into website development using Dreamweaver and then Macromedia Flash.

(BTW, oh boy, I passionately loved building websites in Flash. Too bad Apple and Adobe couldn’t get along.)

Loving technology (as I always have) I also taught myself how to code, write CSS, explored javascript, and otherwise enjoy the instant gratification that is web design.

First with Dreamweaver, then Wordpress, and then I discovered my beloved Squarespace in 2009.

Squarespace certainly does their best to stay ahead of the website design curve, so I’m sticking with them (for now), but they aren’t the best solution for everyone.

Your web hosting choice really depends on your business requirements. If you’re not sure if Squarespace is for you, I can help direct you to other solutions.

Logo Samples

Today, in 2024, there are a zillion options for a business to acquire a logo. Many are free or low-cost. Even if you have a limited budget and want the look of a custom logo without the expense, I have tricks and tips to get you where you want within a limited budget.

I’ve been designing logos for my entire professional career.

(AND that was WELL before 1999)

The small selection of logos shown below were (mostly) built the old-fashioned way: pencil sketch concepts & Adobe Illustrator and/or Photoshop.

All logos shown on this page are copyright protected. © Wallis Williams Design 1999 - 2024
